Data Collection & Usage

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. When using our websites, browser data is automatically processed. This data is technically necessary to enable the correct display and delivery of all elements to your device. This information includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, and the IP address transmitted by it. In addition, additional log data is stored in log files, such as the name of the accessed page, date and time of access, and the amount of data transmitted. We will never attempt to link this information to your person or other personal data.

If you contact us via a contact form or directly by email, you provide us with your email address, your name, and possibly further personal information. This data is used exclusively to process your request. Processing is based on Art. 6 GDPR with your consent.

For both the provision and receipt of deliveries and services, we collect address and contact data. This includes the assignment of contact persons to companies, including their individual contact details and responsibilities. We store offer, order, and billing information, as well as additional information formally required for invoicing. All data is used exclusively for the processing of business transactions within the respective supplier or customer relationship. This also includes the conduct of surveys on customer satisfaction, unless you object.

When subscribing to newsletters, we collect, with your consent, your email address, and possibly your name and affiliation with a company. This data is used exclusively for the transmission of the respective newsletter. Unsubscribing is possible at any time through the links provided in the newsletter or by direct communication with us.

Data Processing, Storage, and Disclosure

We operate our websites, associated services and systems, as well as all business applications exclusively on servers in Germany, typically in our own data center. Data collected by us will not be transmitted to third countries outside the scope of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) unless explicitly requested by you or authorized on a case-by-case basis (e.g., when using cloud applications).

The processing of data collected for order and transactionprocessing is based on Article 6 of the GDPR and is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract with you. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent. Exceptions to this are only our partners whom we require for the fulfillment of the contract or for handling the contractual relationship. These may include recipients such as suppliers, wholesalers, shipping service providers, payment service providers, inventory management service providers, web hosting providers, manufacturers, IT, and service providers. The extent of data transmission is limited to the respective minimum necessary. In all cases, we strictly adhere to legal requirements.

For the transmission of data, we use current encryption methods and security systems to ensure your protection. The use of our websites and online services generally occurs via SSL-secured connections. The connection to your device is secured with the highest possible encryption supported by both parties.

We only store your data for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned here or for legal reasons. After that, all data is routinely deleted in accordance with legal requirements. IP addresses recorded in the log files of our web servers are automatically deleted after four weeks.

Your Rights

As a data subject, you have the right to receive information about your personal data collected, processed, and stored by us at any time.

You also have the right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and withdrawal of any consents you may have given. You can revoke your consents at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Usage of Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). Google Analytics is activated only with your consent (see section "Data Collection and Usage"). The data processing serves the purpose of analyzing this website and its visitors. For this purpose, Google, on our behalf, will use the information obtained to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities, and provide us with other services related to website usage and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. IP anonymization is enabled on this website. As a result, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted.
